Will it be Wednesday on August 5th?
This market will resolve to "Yes" if August 5th falls on a Wednesday in the Gregorian calendar. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". Resolution will be based on the official Gregorian calendar as defined by international standards (ISO 8601). In the event of a calendar reform or time zone dispute, the resolution will be based on the Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) date. Resolution Criteria: The market will resolve to "Yes" if August 5th is officially recognized as a Wednesday. The market will resolve to "No" if August 5th falls on any other day of the week. Note on Resolution: Given the deterministic nature of the Gregorian calendar, the outcome of this market is mathematically certain. August 5th falls on a Wednesday in years where the cumulative day count from the start of the year modulo 7 aligns with Wednesday. The calendar cycle is fixed and predictable, making the "Yes" outcome the only possible resolution. Special Conditions: If a leap second or calendar adjustment is introduced before August 5th, the resolution will follow the official international standard in effect at that time. In the event of a catastrophic event that disrupts the global calendar system, the market will resolve based on the last officially recognized calendar before the disruption. Resolution Source: Official Gregorian calendar as published by timeanddate.com or equivalent authoritative source.
